Confusing Ingredients
I just want to cry a million tears
While knowing I am strong
Direct myself
To
The foggy covered
Jet black road to
Recovery
While figuring out the ingredients
Of confusion
Inside a box of
Illness and pain
Before uncovering
The secret recipe
Of a healthier
Life
That’s no longer as
Simple
BREAKFAST:
Pancakes with GF self raising flour, egg, milk, salt heat pan, melt butter and cook like you would normally cook pancakes. Topping of choice: Gippsland Dairy yoghurt, YUM!. Drink : GF chocolate milk (substitute for Milo)

Coeliac Disease
THE BEAT OF LIFE
Sometimes a little too much
Without watching out for
The dangers
Of a road crossing
Through the messiness
Of people
Who walk through a city wonderland
Of shops, streets, restaurants, trams, lights,
While we listen
To the music
Of our hearts
Allowing tears to be pushed through
The gap
When we want the
Grief to be complete
And no longer
A struggle
Of knotted pain
Abundance
Of freedom
And pure
Happiness
Found in a new path
Towards
Our fortress of life
In reconstruction
Allowing us to dance
Once again

re:Grateful
I wrote this on the date that is posted below the poem. However, I decided that I would post it today because of the mixed feelings I have with coming up to Christmas. Christmas is usually a time to be happy, merry, love, joy, hope and be with family. For some though it can be sad, a time to remember loved ones, stressful, a time where you might be away from home, etc. At the end of the day though I would have to say that even though I may have experienced pain, sorrow and a few other negative 'life' feelings throughout this year- I am grateful, I'm grateful for what I have, the opportunities I have been given and the people that I have met because I don't think that I would be who I was without them.
